Text Box: This is also an advanced band with membership based upon audition. This band, limited to approximately sixty musicians, will focus on literature intended for smaller bands. Students will be expected to participate in advanced music opportunities, such as full orchestra, All-State ensembles and solo & ensemble competitions. Students in this ensemble may opt to be members of the Kamiak Show Band, but all will be required to attend home football and basketball events, competitions, and tours. Most of the year will be spent on concert literature, with an emphasis on technique, music understanding, and performance.
